Isopure?
Can't help you there - I can't stand them. I tried several flavors, but it was a no go for me.
My favorite protein drink is one I got from Eggface:
1 scoop Click protein (www.drinkclick.com or amazon.com)
1 scoop Chocolate protein powder (I use Body Fortress - at WalMart)
8 oz. Lactaid fat free milk (I'm lactose intolerant)
1/2 banana (I cut my bananas in half, wrap and freeze)
1 tsp. DaVinci sugar free vanilla syrup
handful of ice cubes
Whiz all together in a blender. It's about 49 grams of protein, and tastes like Starbucks Chocolate Banana Vivanno. Yummy!

I bought a case of them as a newbie...still have most of them on a shelf in the laundry room...GROSS. Something about the way they dried my mouth out creeped me out.
I love the Nectar proteins, my fav is the fuzzy navel mixed with a lil orange flavored crystal light. Call a few places like vitamin shops and natural foods stores and see if they have any samples or small sizes. I know the Vitamin Shoppe in Greenwood has samples from time to time.

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
I am drinking the blue one now and it's not horrible. I am only doing them right now to ward off the hunger while I am on clear liquids. The protein helps.
Jeannie- What flavor do you have? If I decide that I like the flavor you have, I might be willing to take the ones you have off your hands :-)

Hi Stacy,
I did not like any protein shake combinations/recipes that I tried, so I bought a few flavors of Isopure and settled on the Pineapple Orange Banana. I like it cold though, not warm. I shake the bottle well, keep a couple ahead in the fridge, then shake them again before opening. I buy styrofoam cups and pour some into the cup - keeps it cold longer - and keep the rest of the bottle in the fridg. I have been drinking it for almost 2 years, and expect to do so for life.
I order it from GNC online, using my GNC gold card the first few days of the month, getting the discount and ordering enough to qualify for the free shipping. It is delivered right to my doorstep! While you are trying flavors there is a GNC in the Tippecanoe mall and one in the Purdue West shopping center.
isn't your surgery this Wednesday? I'll be thinking about you. It's rough at first but oh so worth it.

I like the grape. But my secret is to pour it over shaved ice. (My ice shaver was my best purchase) It's like a slush from DQ.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
